Congrats on the truck. I love the ones that came on mine from ford.

If you go aftermarket make sure you get stainless steel ones. I have seen some pretty low quality ones. Some painted or chromed with major finish issues.

The ones from ford are bolt on.

Good luck.

Here's what I want for steps http://www.n-fab.com/products.nerfsteps.asp. They tuck up close to the body but still have usefull steps on them.

Sounds like your bucking the trend going bigger. We're getting almost the same truck. Enjoy all the room. I received some advice that sounded good. Practice driving a school bus every day for a month and then the CC won't seem so big.

I'm, going up from an 89 f150 every day to an 08 CC longbox 4x4, the wife drives our 250 Ex cab Short box.

Congrats and I hope you have as much luck with Ford as I have over the years.

Roy.

Hehe, I'm going from a 2004 Toyota Tacoma Crew to a 05 250 Crew PSD.

It'll take some getting used to (it sits a little low compared to my 79 ).
