my flexplate

if my flexplate gets on the bad teeth and my truck wont start, i can turn the motor over with a ratchet and get it on good teeth couldnt i?

a got a screw driver and pryed one tooth at a time to spin the engine when I installed my tranny and new TC just take the bell housing cover off you might even be able to do it from the harmonic balancer bolts but never have tried it.

you only need to go a little bit right? I believe its clockwise looking from the front but don ' t quote me on that I am not a 100% sure I when what ever way was easier to turn for me you only need to go little bit to grab teeth right? Make sure your a least 4-5 teeth past the missing
