96 FSB stereo
I tried the link to the stereo area, but it did not work.
SO, I want to take my stock head unit out of my 96 FSB, and I want to know if I can just pop in a cheap aftermarket head unit with a CD player.
I do not want to do any wiring of any sort. Do most units come with a harness that will plug into the factory unit(if it has one).
Or do I need a adapter kit.
I'll go to Best buy and see if I can get a good buy later.

I bet the adapter will cost more than the cheap headunit I will end up buying.
Ever bought a cheap printer - Lexmark for example - 30.00 for the printer and 35.00 for the replacement ink cartridges.
I just bought a universal cell phone charger for my son. The charger was inexpensive, but the adapter to his particular phone was outrageous.

That's what I like to hear. How about the headunits a Walmart? cheap enough?
Will hanger wire get the stock unit out of the dash?

QL2,
Does Walmart have the removal tool, should Checker sell one?
BTW, I like you avatar now, it is not as scary looking.
I have to go to Checker and/or Walmart to buy motoroil anyway, so I'll check it out and keep you posted.

Claw-side to the face of the old radio should work.
