Take care of you needs first, wants come and go.

Plus, you can always get a truck any old time. There are thousands out there and Ford just keeps making them(for those who have too much wants). Hundreds are produced everyday so there will be no shortage in the near future.

Yet, I always keep my eye open for my next want too - a 4x4 F250 or a 4x4 Ranger.

So I must say I feel your pain.

Ditto what Darren said - you can always get a truck. You'll probably find one you like more for a better deal - except that usually happens right after you buy one.

You seem to get better deals when you don't need things. Impulse purchases usually turn out to be bad in the long run. We all went through this at one time or another.

Anyone got an 4x4 F250 for sale? cheap that is.

I'm in the same boat. Killed my beast a couple weeks ago and have an opportunity for a fairly good deal on a non-Ford truck. A '97 half ton for 1500.00 that I have to put a clutch in. So, 1800.00 total but another month and I'll be riding my motorcycle almost exclusively...

Paying 75.00 a month for insurance for a vehicle I hardly drive is turning me off the idea and I'm thinking I'll just get a pedal bike and ride that until I can ride the motorcycle.

Your own house, it builds wealth if you manage it right. Had mine at 21.

Don't buy it if you have to make payments!! Especially now with the economy as
it is. If I would have bought the 68 camaro I had a chance to buy when I was
younger with the money I spent on the vehicles I have either bought out right or
made payments on, I could have one bad @$$ car right now and have it be worth
something!! Well unless fate would have happened anyways and I would have been
in that 85mph head on collision in the camaro instead of the RX7 I was driving, then
it wouldn't be worth crap no anyways!! Ohh Well!! Moral of the story don't make
payments spend the money on the insurance you save alone and put it in the car or
truck you have now it will add up and save you bookoo money!! You could buy your
own house instead of renting by the time your friends are just moving out of mommies
