You can now buy used truck ESP even after the warranty has expired with an inspection from a Ford dealer.

 

Does this apply to an 05 F350/6.0 with 95,000 kms and if so at what cost?

Is this a new one or the one thats been out for about three months? The one that came then allowed you to buy some warranty. There were two options depending on whether you were under 3 years/60000 kms or over that.I think those were bit over $2000.

 

Morris, whats the details on this? is this something new, new or the same program that was out before Xmas?

Yes you can now purchase Ford Extended Service Plans on your current vehicle even if the basic warranty has expired. Your vehicle must still fit within the guidelines and must be inspected at the selling dealer. For example, the top of the line Premium Care is available only on vehicles with 96,000 kms and less at time of purchase. If the vehicle is 2 years old you can purchase up to 4 years and 80 K. The next step down (Extra Care) you can purchase 4/80 for 5 model years old.
Also new is DieselCare and DieselCare Plus. Ford Extended warranty up to 5 years or 300,000 kms form original in service date. *** long as the vehicle (6.0L or 6.4L) is still under 5/160 warranty you can purchase this warranty without inspection.

Both programs can be financed at 0% over 17 months if the dealer has signed up and pays the admin fee. There are over 3,500 ESP available, so it is impossible to cover each one but the brochures and coverages are available here http://www.ford.ca/main/default.asp?...endedplans.asp

I`ve looked at the info supplied and haven`t found any rates yet.....

4 year 80K $3,025
Remember it requires an inspection and any covered component that is broken must be repaired at owners expence before warranty can be in effect. The Diesel Care and Diesel Care Total require no inspection. $1,480 and $2,465
