I realize complaining about this stuff is so petty especially when you compare it to the poor people in the south who are victims of the tornados but....where the hell is the sun. They weather guy said we have only had one sunny day this month. We are expecting snow and clouds all weekend and then we might see sun on monday before three days of junk on tuesday, wednesday, and thursday.
Great week to start a new job that's mainly outside! Next week is looking even worse. It's winter, soon we'll be complaining because it's too hot and none of our A/Cs work.
I work outside too. I love summer. For me, the hotter the better. All the guys around me drag in the summer heat. I just love it. I want to move the the Carolina's when I retire.
Saw a little sun this morning, but now it's clouding over with snow showers later this afternoon I guess. We've had 1" of snow 3 days in a row. Not enough to plow, but just enough to make a mess.
There's nothing better than 5" of snow and 2" of rain on top of that. I had work from 6 AM to 4 PM before I could even start plowing my 10 accounts. Yuck!
I tosted the clutch in the plow truck friday night. I got a nice puff of smoke as the rubber band broke(4 cyl). Had to pull the truck up the driveway. I get to shovel all this stuff. Or hope it all melts away in the next couple days. IF WE EVER SEE SUN.
ANY weather is good weather. If you disagree, go spend 60 or 70 days in a row underwater on a submarine where all you have is an electric "now" that's so sterile you can look at a clock and forget if it's 6 am or 6 pm until you look at the log.
