Need pricing help

I might be selling an f-100, but i have no idea of where to start as far as pricing goes. this truck has no motor or trans, but the body is in decent shape. interior is in good shape and as a total, i would say a 7 out of 10 shape.

i dont have pics but how much would be a good price to sell this at? thank you for your help guys, sorry for being a n00b, but im a subie guy.

First off, welcome, this is a great forum. The guys and gals here have a wealth of knowledge. You will however, need to provide a bit more info on your truck, like the year it was built.

They might be able to give you a better idea with some more information. What year is it? Where is it located?

Pics would help a lot if you can borrow a camera from a friend or neighbor.

hahaha, you guys are just as bad as us subie guys..

jeebus! ok, lets try this, this truck would be the equivelant to one of the trucks in an OLD NAVY store, you know, the stakebeds?

picture that, and thats about what shape it would be.

like i said, i DO NOT have it in my posession, so no pics.

and no i wont sell it for 100, but thats a step in the right direction

Welcome to the board; It would be nice to know where your from. What state and so forth. Trucks run different prices in different areas. Does it have a title, Is it all rusty, is it all beat up and missing parts. Price will vary a lot in how it looks and how much rust there is in the fenders and and cab and so forth.

I will ask again...do you have a legal title to the truck? If not...it is not worth as much in most states. You have not said where the truck is either. Location changes the price too. How long and where has it been sitting? If sitting outside, it will require a lot more work and $$$ to restore.

How is the glass? That is a big cost if scratched, bubbled, or cracked. Does it have the original suspension? I know the drivetrain is gone. How much body filler does it have and how is the paint? How is the chrome and badges?

As far as old navy stores...never been in one. Doubt I ever am.

If it is being sold as a parts truck (no title) it could go for anywhere between $100 and maybe $1500 depending on condition (just guessing since I don't mess with the older ones-mine is a 56). Also...you would need to find a buyer who wants that particular year.

Go look in the galleries and see if you can decifer the year. They are different.

I am not familiar with where Corona CA is, but you might contact the pickups limited (orange county) guys and see if they know anyone who might be looking for a truck.

Here is a link to their club site:

http://www.pickupslimited.com/

This is their message board (similar to this, but for the club):

http://www.pickupslimited.com/phpbb/index.php

I know some of them personally. They are a good group of guys and gals out there.

Yes...pics would definately help with price guestimates.

I like that the guy is trying to sell a truck he knows nothing about.

To the people that don't know what the Old Navy trucks look like here's some....
