Any opinion on the Interco (super swamper) TRXUS M/T? I'm right at the point of ordering them and I thought I'd ask for opinions. Any out there? I've had Interco tires before with great success, but have not tried this paticular one.
i thought about running those since i play in the dunes sometimes but i heard they are not a great tire.do a search for review and check out the customer comments on some sites.i decided with a swamper.had boggers previously and those were good as well.what size are you planning on running?i know when you get up in size there isnt a HUGE selection
I tried running a few searches yesterday, not a lot of info. on the TRXUS. The guys runnin'em on jeeps & toyotas brag on them. But I'm wondering about the weight of SD on them. I know they're not real aggressive but their comparable to most mud grips..........The particular size I was looking at was the 34-12.50-16. Trying to be modest on tire size, with gearing. A LOT of controversy on that issue!

Reason: did'nt answer all Questions
just a couple i found ,there is always going to be negative stuff on anything but seems like bad balancing issues and i know TSL in general has some quality control issues ( i had to get a replacement tire from tsl because it was defefectice) also the radial your getting will be better then the bias tires that i have to run ( 44's)

I have a set of 37" trXus mt on my 07 dodgeram 2500 sport with 6" superlift lift. After having them balanced 6 times, replacing the rears, still have vibration/bounce issues. Below 50mph they are fine, anything above that and the truck bounces horribly. After having driveshaft angle checked, driveline checked, then running the stock tires...Ive concluded the problem is the tires.

I bought a set of 31X10.50/15 TrXus M/T's. They are outstanding for traction and great for a trail rig but, I could never get them balanced for road use.
I had them rebalanced about 12 times in the 14K miles I had them and all that ever happened was the out of balance speed would move from 50 to 60 or back to 45 or whatever. After 14K miles I got so aggravated that I dumped them and bought BFG M/T's and never had a problem with the balance on them.
I currently have 285/75-R16 load range E TRXUS M/T on my 2000 F350. I have not been overly impressed with them.
1. The tire shop had a difficult time balancing them. They had to use several wheel weights and still could not get it perfect.
2. The tires need replacing and I have put only about 15,000 miles on them.
3. Okay for mud use, put performed very poorly in snow. I plow with the truck and was not at all happy with snow performance. I realize they are a mud terrain but expected a little better out of them.
My $.02
Wow! That's ashame, the last set of super swampers I had I couldn't brag enough about. The main reason I was looking at this paticular tire is for the heavier sidewall. I'd like to get rid of that squirmy feel.
from what i can tell the best way to balance anything 35 inches and above should use balancing beads or 4 fl oz cup lead buckshot in the trire to balance instead of weights. i plan on using beads on the 37s i get next. they balance much better than wheel weights on bigger tires from what i can tell, and only takes one try to balance them
i had BFG A/T on my last truck and had really good luck with them. Good performance in mud and really good performance in the snow. Now they have them in load range E in 285/75-R16 so I will be purchasing them very soon.
ive had the trxus mt's 37x12.5R17's hard as heck to balance I wont buy them again, went with BFG at / KO's could not be happier and these tires do just as well as the trxus mt's but i will show this cause this was amazing:

What kinda driving do you do? Mostly pavement? Offroad any?
Sorry guys! been out of pocket this weekend. In this neck of the woods it's only mud "Black Gumbo" but I do spend time on the pavement also. I only put 4K on it last year (It's not a daily driver) Generally my tires dry rot before they're slick. If I put a tire on....It's gonna be a mud grip. I'm just looking for a good weight rating & thick sidewall! Like I stated earlier I'm tired of that "squirmy" feel.
