My F350 has a stumbling issue. I have not done much diagnosing with it yet. From what I've read I'm guessing COP problem. I have access to a scanner that can read the can bus, but until I do scan it I'm curious if one of the symptoms of a bad coil is that it appears to go away when it's below freezing (32^ or so). It seems like the colder it is here the smoother my truck runs.
They all start failing differently, mine had a intermittent stumble under load only sometimes and other times it fell completely on its face and the truck would barely move.
Funny thing was though, during the 2 weeks I waited for the CEL to illuminate so I could find out which one failed, it ran without a problem on a 300 mile trip then blew a plug out the head a week after I replaced the COP. I didn't even touch the plugs when I swapped COPs. Just thought it was funny how things follow sometimes.
