I'm new to this Forum but have owned my truck for a long time. I generally get all the abbreviations. However I'm stumped. What's a FIPL?

I changed my FIPL because my tranny, once warmed, would have probs with 3rd and 4th. Constant in and out of each. I put a code reader on it and it came up with a tps prob. The stock FIPL had 213K miles on it. I set the new one at 1.12 but the shifts are very very soft and early. I will set it at 1.2v
