Tonite I had to back up my driveway, about 6%, and the tranny felt like it was locking up and the X was not going anywhere.I drove forward off the driveway and tried to turn around and it went about 5 feet and did it again.I had put it in 4x the first time, but it did it when I took it out. Then the next thing was that it would only go about 10 feet forward in drive. The service engine light came on and the O/D off lite started flashing. Shut it off and was able to move it back about 15 feet after I restarted the engine and drove it about 50' out of the driveway to turn it around and it really felt weird and then back another 100 feet up the driveway and it felt like a slipping clutch feels on a stick. The only way I could back it into it's spot was to put it into N and coast back as it would go about 5' and buck to a stop and the engine die.It now has a full service lite and a flashing off lite when I start it up..This is a transmission that was replaced by the original owner about 30K ago and is a factory replacement with a 36K and 36 month warranty...
Also,on thinking about it,could this be the CPS???
101K on the "X",but the tranny was new at about 70K.It was just serviced at the dealer less than 1K ago and has one 400 mile pull,Trailer trip, on it since then.It looks as if there is plenty of fluid in it,but it's hard to tell with these dipsticks, even the dealer says that.
I guess I'll just have to pull out the W.O from the place in Denver, bought it on Ebay, for information. The guy had his shop do it and they are right next to a big dealer.

If u replaced it, dont u have a warrenty? BTW, BTS is the best (i think) aftermarket builder of the 4R100
Man,do I feel like an idiot..Checked the fluid and it's all there, called the truck and waved bye,bye as it went to the dealer.. Dealer called a couple of hours later and said it's all done...Turns out that BOTH negative battery cables were loose. One was almost all the way off and the other was just about there. When the car would bounce,or the engine shift, it was dying. They put new cable heads on as they said that they were the original and they had seen that problem before and they are keeping it o'nite to double check the codes in the AM..I did also tell her that I was backing up a 6% grade when it happened.
