I found the bottom of my passenger floor mat had fluid on it the other day. It did not smell like antifreeze so I figured someone must have spilled something. Today I checked it again and found fluid there again. Noone has ridden there since the other day. Again it had no smell to it, but it made me curious. I looked under the dash and nothing appearred to be wet.
Anybody had this happen or have an idea what it could be?
By the way, it is a 04 Screw FX4 5.4L 56K miles.
Have run the AC and heat in the past few days, maybe a total of 15 minutes each (today it was in the 80's, but the other evening it was in the low 50's. Gotta love the Florida weather).
Look around on the firewall where the heater core is coming through, below that there is usually a rubber drain to let the condensation from evaporator core drain when running the air conditioner. If that is clogged it can fill up the heater box and leak out to the inside.
I beleive the drain is actually in the tunnel area above the trannie, but I agree, either heater core or the drain could be plugged. Check your coolant level and see if it's down. If it's fine, than maro is probably right that the drain got plugged.

The other day i posted about frost and moisture on the inside of my windshield, found out where the moisture was coming from. There was water getting in around the third tailight on top of the cab and that was letting water run inside from the roof of the truck, dont have any idea how long it had been doing that, but to make story short water run down the back of truck under the carpet and i mean i have lots of water under the carpet mostly the passenger side, still havent got it all dried out yet, anyway that was my problem, also my truck is 2004 with 56k miles
my 04 super crew has had the same problem for a while and I couldnt figure it out I just pulled the drain plug in the rocker panel under the sill plate so the water can drain out. how did you re seal the third brake lite?
I had the same issue with my third brake light. Luckily it was under warranty, but it's been an issue on several trucks. Something else to keep an eye on.

Had my 06' Screw light seal replaced under warranty after storms left rear seat drenched. Dealer installed new seal.
Way to check for leak: Close windows, blast AC or heat or fan only, take real sopay water and put over light. If there is bubbles forming your seal is bad.
After they replaced the taillight seal, rear seat was wet during next storm. Dealer repalced sliding window seal. No more leak.
I got my truck back from the dealer today. Its been there for several weeks after spending several weeks in the garage here at the house staying out of the rain and not being driven. Rode the bike instead.
The third brake light and the A/C drain were both to blame. The dealer changed the brake light and installed new seals and put on a new drain.
Now for the kicker, they removed the seats, floor and head liner and made sure everything was dry. They removed a small amount of mold/ mildew from under the floor and replaced some of the insulation that was contaminated. I don't know why the headliner was pulled, but I suspect it was because of the third brake light leaking.
All this for $177 and having the truck for a couple weeks. Simply put pick two of the next three options(because you'll never get all three): good, cheap, fast. I chose good and cheap, so it couldn't be fast.
I would have done it myself...but at least you got it fixed. RTV is cheap and easy
no-one has mentioned the Moonroof drain yet. they have been known to clog and fill the cab as well...just a FYI if anyone has wet spots and cannot figure it out
