That may be true for you. I personally see this as a great innovation on Ford's part for the businesses that can use it. A very good example of the innovative ideas coming from Ford right now!

That's pretty useless in a truck.
They should concentrate on more important things people want in a truck like decent HP and MPG's.
Maybe working on stuff like this is why they have fallen behind by so much.

I wonder how the radio tracking feature will alert you if a tool is missing? It would be nice if it could be linked to the trucks alarm at the end of the day, so that a thief would be exposed as he steals something. This would definitely come in handy for important cargo like an ATV.

I can see those would be nice features for a utility company or municipal vehicles

How do you suppose the tool tracking works, RDF chips? I pity the guy who has that feature. I can see HUGE potential for mischief by his coworkers!

Gee...again Ford gets crucified for designing a truck that's built to...work?

come on now, guys...

Not everybody wants a 600 HP rocket truck that will also get 35 MPG...

I think it's an excellent package for a BUSINESS who uses multiple trucks and covers a variety of different jobs. There are many, many such businesses out there, and this is the kind of thing that nobody BUT ford has on the table, and could prove very useful for thousands of potential buyers.

No, it's not the fold-out 25" LCD DVD player or the bling-bling 25" wheels, or even the 600 HP wondermotor...it's something genuinely useful.

I think it's a great idea.

I like the lock they put in the bed. That thing would be as handy as a pocket on a shirt. I admit Im not too tore up about the computer stuff but I can see how it would help some companies. Kudos to Ford for thinking about the guy that really does use his truck for work. They are really starting to win me over with some of their ideas.

Wonder how long that cable is on the lock? I have all kinds of stuff that needs to be locked up.

I knew it was only a matter of time. What could possibly go wrong with the lock though?
