My exhaust
I am 16 and i bought my 1991 ford f150 with the staight six when i was 12, i have been a huge fan of them all my life and i have been under vehicals since i was born, i am a hude gearhead!!!!. Ever since i bought the truck i have been messing with the exhaust to get that perfect sound, first i ran staights off the 2 cats then a glasspack then cut off second cat and ran a glasspack then gutted out the first cat and ran a glasspack and finally, last night i found the sound i have been lookin for, I cut the first cat off( i have the split manifolds so i had 2 pipes goin into the cat) and ran 2 5ft pipes 2in big out and it sounds awesome!!! I finally got the sound i have been lookin for, it doesnt sound ricey at all it sounds like a cummins/dertroit desiel,i am so happy and i can feel a huge power gain i will try to get a sound clip on here!!!! reply and tell what you think!!!!
i found a clip on you tube which is a detroit desiel but it sounds EXACTLY like my truck!!! tell me what ya think!!!

lets just say that i can take off from a stop sign and my parents can still hear me inside the house with the tv on, ya she is screamin but it has a great tone to it, i read a lot on this forum about exhaust and with the one that i have now i would never ever change it, it almost sounds like a dodge 318 when you rev it up!! we park in the redneck row at school and a kid has a dodge 318 with straights and they think that our trucks sound identical untill i put her in gear then she sounds like a detroit deisel!!! SO ya she is SCREAMIN LOUD!!!

you might be a gear-head, but you sure aren't a spelling scholar huh? just kidding. i'd like to hear some clips too, so i can decide what to do with my exhaust. its too quiet for me now, i want something a little more ballsy.
