2009 Front Grill Appearances

Anybody else think the '09 F150 is starting to look like a Chevy and the '09 Dodge is moving towards the F150? Just a thought!

I thought the Ford got a lot of inspiration from the Honda ridgeline in the grill area. Not necessarily a good thing in my opinion

Chevy looks pretty similar

Is there some unwritten law that says the front grille must consist of two horizontal rectangles?

At least Ford offers different grilles on different models unlike the competition. And you can easily buy and switch the grilles if you want to.

Actually, the inspiration for both it and the 2008 Super Duty came from this:

yeah...I'm somewhat glad they didnt mainly because that thing doesnt look very aerodynamic. It'd be like driving a wall.

I think the Super Chief concept looks awesome. It would likely have no more drag than a normal truck. It just looks larger becuase of the perspective drawing. If you look at the cab, it has the "chopped" top. I bet that sucker would haul booty.

Regarding the f150 grill, it only looks about two blinks away from being a Lincoln front end.

I think Ford already had the nicest looking grill and interior. The 09 looks like a step in the wrong direction to me.
