I'm trying to get a replacement EGR valve for a 1979 F350 4x4 with 351M engine. The book shows 4 different EGR valves available. I'm looking for the OEM number so I can do a cross-reference. Unless someone has a NOS one available.
Thanks........
I'd love to but I can't get the hood open. It worked a couple of weeks ago. Am I missing something in it's operation. You push the lever in the grill up to pop the hood don't you? It has an auxilary inside lock inside the cab with a key, is that factory? Thanks..
If you do not have the locking hood option, you pull the lever toward you. Hood should pop up however, they become balky and won't pop up. When you pull the lever, if it doesn't pop up, just bang the top of the hood with your hand and it should pop up.
Thanks, I was pushing it up with no luck. It's been a while since I had a Ford, my Dodge is different. I'm leary of trying the inside lock in case I can't get it to release.
