Skipping
I went on a short run this morning with light load. When i got there my truck was skipping so i pulled codes. got a 236 which i always get. When i started it back up there was no skipping and it run fine. By the time i got back home it was skipping again. Restarted and it ran fine again.

- DTC P0236 indicates a turbo boost sensor A circuit performance concern.
- DTC P1247 or P1248 indicate turbo boost pressure was low or not detected.
- Possible causes:
- damaged MAP hose
- low turbo boost
- intake manifold or crossover tube hose leaks
- damaged MAP sensor
- damaged PCM
- Inspect MAP sensor hose and manifolds for damage, leaks, restriction and misrouting.

Have you done the UVC harness yet? If not, you might want to, mine did what you are describing a couple of times before it wouldn't run at all. i don't know about the code you are getting but the symptoms are familiar.

There is a wiring harness under your valve cover that feeds your GP's and injectors,, the clip that holds the connector weakens allowing the connector to seperate and loose contact. Now don't ask me how it regains contact sometimes, but it does cause mine came and went several times. You have to remove your valve covers and put a wedge in the clip.

When it starts running rough. Go up and unplug one side of the harness from one of the valve covers. If it doesn't start running rougher, that's your problem side. If it does, replug it in and unplug the other side. If it doesn't run any rougher, then that's your problem. If it does, your back to square one!
