Went to open the windows this morning - nothing. Owner's manual indicates a 30A Circuit Breaker. "Circuit Breaker" to me inidcates that it's re-settable. Is that the case, or am I going to need to replace that item? If it's re-settable, is there a switch or something on the breaker itself?
No, I am pretty sure that it will need to be replaced. Also, make sure your switch is not broken. My driver side switch started to feel weird to me and a few days later just stopped working. So, I took it apart to play with it and I wound up fixing it.
IT IS VERY COMMON FOR THE DRIVERSIDE SWITCH PANEL TO GO OUT ON THESE TRUCKS. I REPLACE THEM ALL THE TIME FOR PEOPLE AT MY SHOP. bUT WARRENTY DOES COVER IT IF YOU ARE STILL UNDER WARRENTY
Have you tried to roll down each window by it's own switch or did you just use the driver side panel? If you have only tried the driver side go and try each individual switch.
I have tried each individual switch at all four doors. Dealer just called and it shows that there is no power going from the fuse box to the windows (but everything else is working). Sounds like this is going to be costly (no, not under warranty anymore)...
I would hope that the dealer would have enough sense to check for a loose connection. Last conversation they were talking about pulling carpet, taking out seats, etc...
22s- what did you do to fix your switch? My front pass switch is not working. I can operate the window with my driver's switch, but not the pass switch. Pisses me off since I doubt I've had someone in the pass seat more than half a dozen times!! Just wondering if it's more likely the switch or wiring somewhere..
