Well I did it I got rid of my over priced do more damage than good AFE tonight and I am very happy with the new filter set up. It pretty much sounds the same but it looks so good I painted the intake pipe the same colour as my truck, I was going to post a pic but you all know what they look like

Ya that mod was a lifesaver. I love mine too. Great to hear that turbo whistle!

Ha I bet I tried using the afe box for the filter and it would have worked but too much screwing around besides It,s better that way because now I can sell it as a complete intake and try to get some of my money back
