Heater stays on

I have a 99 f-250 and today the heater stayed on after the key was turned off. Has anyone heard of this? Also the remote door unlocker would not work. Had to use the key. After that it worked fine. It was raining here today so that may have something to do with it.

my 2000 f-350 v10 did the same thing for a while it turned out to be a multi function switch that went bad. i think its the one that controls that turn signals and such if i remember correctly.
