I believe I found the truck that I need to/ or should buy. It is clean, low miles and in my price range. But it is red and the missus does not like red trucks.
Not my first choice either but when buying used we cant always pick the color.
Anyhow what I am looking for is pictures of SD trucks in the 4x4 CC longbed(or short I guess) configuration in the bright red color, not the burgundy red.
So lets see the proof that red can look good. If you dont want to post pics here just send them direct to me at Brianut@hotmail.com
I'm kind of the opposite of you... I was looking for used and hoping for red and the one I ended up with is REALLY red. I don't have any pics of it washed though. Bought it last November so it hasn't been warm enough to wash it yet...
This is the last truck I owned, I traded it in on a F350! Almost had one in red but dealer did'nt want to sell it I guess, I found the same thing in Blue for 2 grand less
Red wasn't my first choice either and the wife didn't really like it.. but when I bought it new in 1998 the dealer had 2 trucks... 1 crew and one supercab.. both red. It has really grown on me though and I think when you put the right amount of black and chrome (or polished stainless) on it.. it is one of the sharpest colors on a SD. Putting on bushwacker flares tomorrow and will post another pic.
Put the pics in your gallery. .when they are in your gallery you will see a button to "show code for posting picture" (or something like that). Copy that url.. then.. reply to the post.. click on "Go Advanced".. then you will see the icon to post a picture.. paste the url in there.. and viola.. your pic gets posted
