Well, if you lock your tailgate, technically it is locked. Of course, someone with a knife will defeat that!

I know on the access you have to open the tailgate to open the cover, and you can lock the tailgate. But it is still a soft cover. My theory is they will have to cut the cover and that should stop almost all people.

Most of the covers out there you do have to open the tailgate in order to open the cover. My theory is out of sight, out of mind.

I have a Roll-n-Lock flush bed cover. It locks and keeps 95% of the water out of the bed. A person can stand on it too. You might be able to see it in my gallery.

I had a Truxedo original on my '00 F-150 and it was trouble free. I sold it with the truck when I got my '02 F-350. I will get another Truxedo as soon as I can afford it. Although noone has asked or mentioned it, I did get about 1.5-2 mpg better when it was covering the bed and I am hoping I'll get the same with my 7.3.

Slightly off beat, but what don't you guys seem very keen on the snap covers? I'm thinking about getting one and need to learn!

No one likes snap covers!, na im just messin around. Alot of people buy them, I dont know if they like them or they get em bc they are the cheapest. Any way there is a company called Torza or Advantage and they make Tri-Folds, which i like alot they also make a Snap. They also offer a snap with a huge ford racing thing stiched onto it. I dont kno check em out...
