Bumping when hitting brakes
Hi folks, I got a 78 4x4 F150 that I have changed the rear wheel seals, new brakes shoes, new drums, on the front I have changed the front hubs, bearings, and pads. When it is cold outside when I hit my brakes the truck makes a loud bumping noise, at first I thought it was coming from the front, but lately it sounds like it is in the back. The truck also stops on a dime when the bumping noise hits. I am beginning to suspect the master cylinder or the proportioning valve.
Anyone on here had any problems like this and give some insight as to the problem?

What kind of condition are your radius arm bushings, and leaf spring bushings in? when you brake, the whole assembly is gonna try and rotate if the bushings are all wore out. My 73 f250 did that. Just a suggestion
