The only "bolt in" driveshafts will come from other BII's. Be aware that there are a few different lengths available, depending on which transmission was installed.
Many people prefer to swap to a more tradiational u-joint style driveshaft (single or double cardan). You might get lucky and find one in a junkyard.
i found a place that sells a30 inch "regular driveline" and my measurements from plate to mounting plate are 31 and 3/8, would a 30 incher work or do i need to go a little shorter to allow for suspension flexing?
12 point 12mm will take those bolts out if you haven't already stripped them. BIIs are stil pretty common in the junkyards so you should be able to find something pretty easily. You need to look up to see if there are any driveshafts that are close to 31.5 inches or so. If not then that shaft you have found is probably the one you need, your springs are just really weak and saggy.
On one B2 I replaced the 12 pt stuff with reg.metric 9.8 bolts and lock-tite. On another I think I used Aerostar bolts because they had a bigger head that did not strip.
any drive shaft from a b2 with a A4LD and a 146 are the same length. the 145 tranny is shorter and the C5 is even shorter. is your B2 lifted???? if so you might wanna do this http://rbvheaven.ipbfree.com/index.php?showtopic=217
well got one from the junkyard till i can get a driveline that replaces the gnkwhateverthehellitis, snapped 2 wrenches, one on each vehicle getting the old ones off. shop has one thats 32 inches, will that be too long? there is no real lift to speak of, maybe 1-1/2 inches, running with explorer springs in the back and 235 tires.
got the cv type till my parts dude gets the regular one in stock, am wondering if 32 inches will be too long... the one he ordered is a single i think, with real u joints, stead of the cv crap
