Way to go Bobby, I was starting to wonder what happened to the Caddy Cov's. Very nice touch indeed.
Driving the Falcon Rag down this March, shall I take you a can of my Air Cleaner Paint??

Looks good! Consider a Cadillac medallion for that air cleaner ( you know, some bling).

WHAT!?!?!?!?!? Paint the air cleaner!?!?!?!?! Haven't any of you been to a swap meet lately??

What we have here is a genuine, bona fide, dyed in the wool "survivor", chock full of "patina", "fresh from the barn" "old school" "speed part"
Those are not scratches and dents on the air cleaner those scars are badges of honor, a true testament to the air cleaners rough and storied past.....why, if that air cleaner could talk......

OK, ok......thank you all for playing "Buzz Word Bingo" with me.......

I've considered painting the air cleaner and probably will......someday......
I also need to paint my custom upper radiator hose (its actually a 90degree sweep from the electrical section of the local hardware store)

Dick, thanks for the kind words. I had forgot how I have a tendancy to inspect my work immediately after welding....which, in turn, leads me to stress test freshly welded part by flinging it across the garage while jumping around in tight little circles and flailing burning hand about while trying to say every cuss word you know all at the same time....

Most Excellent

Bobby;

Nice work on the covers; nice to see you had some time to work on the beastie.

I envy your progress. I am working away from home 2 weeks at a time, have week off but weather is in minus twenties Celsius (conversion: damn cold!)

I hope to work at my bedsides this week, have not made any progress since Xmas holidays. Hope to get cab and box in paint by end of April.

Later;

Tom
