140 (wheelbase)MT(exterior paint color) F356(model code, F350 2wd?) N(trim code) 4(body type) G(trans) D6J(axles) DSO71(DSO delivery region, california or northwest?)
sorry I couldnt be much help, someone will happen along with better info.
Thanks for the help. Based on that, and using a 1976 list of codes, I know I have a Wimbledon White body with a Candyapple Red roof, a C6 automatic, and the DSO was Los Angeles. The other codes, other than wheelbase and model, are still an unknown. Anyone else have any insight?
Thanks - that's a relief! I know you've posted most of the codes for '73-79 Ford's, but 1974 seems to be missing. Will you be posted that in the future? Thanks again for your help.
