I did try to use your decoder (BG4 B= Blue G = Seat = National cushionaire with passenger seat
4 - styleside)
but that sheet seemed to denote MD-up trucks/busses. why would they put a blue seat in a green truck with green accents? isnt the cusionaire seat a air-ride HD truck seat? all the footnotes were MD/HD related.
Heres what I know or suspect
9/75 built Michigan Truck sent to Denver region (DSO 76)
1976 F150 4x4 3602v/4-sp (NP 435)
133 inch WB, Medium Green Glow, 6200 GVW 4X4, 3600 LB axle 3.50 gears with Power steering.
I suspect it had cloth seat, perhaps carpet, it does appear to have the ranger package, but few if any other options. no A/C didnt have speaker harnesses, so I suspect AM radio. plain door panels brite moulding with vinyl insert, no pinstripe, single rear fuel tank, no under hood light. standard duty radiator.
when I got it it had no bed, was spraybombed to death, no seat, radio area carved out, gears badly swapped out to 4.11s, a beat to death 360 with way too big 4v edelbrock carb, and headers and broken pinion support in rear. pretty hammered. its a firewood truck. but now I have so much into it, it may be granted a pardon, and released to the street again.
so far lockers front and rear, 3.50 gears again, new 390,radiator, alternator, waterpump, new axles, brakes, steering box/pump. new drivelines, new 33x12.50 tires
I had previously only had 76s built in San Jose, and a crewcab (canada) they all had shoulder belts with retractors, this 76 is the first I have had without shoulder belts. (I have had 73-75s without them) did 4x4s not have shoudler belts, was it regional? what gives? I'm just curious.

Reason: more info added
there is still green on teh firewall, and floor. some previous owner decided that dark blue spray paint looked better.
I dont care for green, but where its still nice, I can see the glow!
I will do a cab-off repaint whn the eventual time comes, I might consider the green, who knows? I like the dark blue of my other 76s better,or even black to match the marauder.
thanks for all the help and patience, you are a Godsend.
