Exahust question

Hi everyone. I've been reading this forum for quite a while now, tons of great info.
I have a 2000 X V10 XLT 117,000mi. I tow a 10000# TT which, while sucking the gas, does pretty well. I have a Superchip tuner that I use in tow mode when towing, seems to help.

My problem now is that I've got a pretty good exhaust leak behind the catalytic converter-the connection is shot. I welded it once, my mechanic welded it once, it's just getting worse. Time for performance exhaust, maybe the wife won't drive it so much if it's louder. Everything in front of the cat looks solid, so I don't want to mess with that.

My questions are these: What brand(s) have everyone had good luck with? Where is the best/cheapest place to purchase? I need a new cat, should I go performance there too? If so, whose?

Thanks in advance for what I'm sure will be great responses.

If you have been reading here for some time, you should have read something on this. Many discussions on it. The V10 is different with exhaust. I have a FM Super 40 and love it.
Good luck

If ur lookin for a exhaust that isnt loud and not to quite and u tow alot on grades, then go with the FM 70 series.
