460 Spark Plugs
460 Spark Plugs
Hi All,
Going through my pile o parts and I found 2 sets of brand new Champion plugs ...
RV17YC6
Are these suitable for a 460 in a truck ...
I've had these for a while and forget if they're for a 460
or a 351C , ( or possibly a 302 , but doubt it ) .
Thanks ... no use buying more stuff if what I have works !

I don't know what those are for, but I don't think it's a 460. You can go to the following website and put in the year, make, engine to get a plug reference.

Thanks ,
After a few phone calls to various " Ford Gurus" ,
they all agree that these plugs are too hot for a 460
and are propably from my 351CJ days .
The price is $6.50/8 plugs ...
that puts them back about 17 or 18 yrs old .
Look good as new ... guess I need a 351C to play with .
Thanks for the site !
