Dash pad question

Dash pad question
My 74 F350 Ranger XLT SCS is white with a red roof. I've assumed my truck is very original, but just realized this may not be the case. The interior is deep red/maroon - carpet, door panels, headliner, seat. However, my dash pad is black - is this correct? Or should it be red?

Not sure, I am the second owner of the truck. The previous owner used the truck as the daily farm truck and didn't really touch or modify anything before I got it. The door panels, seat and dash pad definately belong. As for the headliner not sure why that was white unless it was chosen to match the exterior white roof. All metal in the cab is red.
