according to the Michelin website... so really anyone of these tires are good for the superdutys... so it is all your pick on style and price.
Any body else here have eperience with Michelin LTX A/T 2's on and Excursion. That sounds like an option.
Having now read the customer reviews on Tirerack.com , seems people are saying they sway around from lane to lane way too much. I don't see any reviews by Excursion owners though.
I went with the Silent Armor in 285 load range E. I have had them on for just over 5k and have been in 2 good snow storms with great success. Yesterday I was up in Flagstaff and came down the mountain passing everyone without any issues. There was about 6” of snow on the ground in town and a little more on I 17. The right lane was plowed but the left lane was pretty sad. I stayed in the left lane averaging 50 to 60 mph. The other traffic was under 40. There were a couple of times that I got pushed around but never out of control. None of the pickups could drive on the left side and I wound up passing a couple of other SUV’s that were having challenges.
