changed fipl no difference

installed new fipl today,took it for a drive ran ok for ten mins then it started shifting hard and the od light came back on.undid the batteries while i chenged the fipl,probably why it ran ok for a bit.could the od switch affect the fipl?

Do a code retrieval see what you get........ You did reset the new FIPL to specs correct.....

It sounds like:

1. The FIPL needs to be set again

or

2. The problem wasnt fixed with the FIPL replacement (which was my case!)

just after i posted this my neibors dropped by and dragged me off to go drink a pile a beers.ill retest it tomorow.thanks.
