The truck I use at work is a 4x2 92 F150 Custom with the 4.9 six and e40od tranny. It has primarily been used as a site truck at an office park. It only has 78k but its getting pretty rusty and it might fail its next state inspection due at the end of the month. Old Blue has 3.08 gears in the 8.8 rear axle and is one of the most dependable trucks in our fleet. I just might buy it as a parts truck for my 94 which has 180+k.

if you want to keep it on the road and not worry about failing lemme know, as long as your CEL is off
Thanks
It passed no problem last time but the cab is getting rusty. I'm going to take a close look at it next week. Most of the rust is near the rear corners so the company might have us put on the repair panels.

I bought it from the original owner about 4 years ago. He was a older gentleman who babied it, it was always parked it in a garage, and swore up and down that it had never seen snow.
I've only put about 6000 miles on it since I've bought it. I do not drive it on snowy or rainy days. It just sits in my garage, during nicer months I'll drive it maybe once or twice a week. I drive it when I need to make a good impression.
I have a 1989 F350 Centurion 7.5L with 54,444 miles on it. Bought it from my wife's grandfather for $3200....it sat for long periods, but those are the original miles...it is in great shape!
