oil cap from big box auto store, drilled out and a 3/4 garden hose adapter epoxied in.
3/4 inch 90* elbow from Walmart (in the r/v/ section) drilled out to 3/4 inside diameter.
3 ft of 3/4 ID heater hose
Y diverter from the garden section at wallyworld, with the ball valves removed, and drilled out to 3/4 ID
2 3/4 swivel female ends (to connect to the Y) 2 3/4 male ends (1 in oil cap, 1 in CCV exhaust)
4 band clamps
Well Mike originally your CCV (crank case vent) dumps into your intake tube. only FoMOCO does this, International(the designer and maker of our engine) vents theirs to the atmosphere through a straight tube out of the rear of the drivers side valve cover. I (and others) have done this on the drivers side, but have you ever taken your oil fill cap off while the engine is running, it has a nice stream of smoke(CCV gases) coming out, I am just relieving the restriction that the oil cap creates.
Plus there is a post from along time back by a guy named Gene, who actually hooke up a Magnahelic vacuum guage and measured the pressure, and you would be suprised how much pressure is in the crank case.

I often wondered if this might have skewed Gene's test results. He was so vemenant that I didn't want to bring it up. Might have to do something like this myself Barney

Cool find Barney, although mine is not as pretty as the link you posted, it was done for less than $15. Thriftyness is the true mother of invention.
i have thought about doing this as well, i was going to use another drivers side valve cover for the extra doghouse. i just havent got the time, nice touch though
When you were looking at the site, did you actually read the crap they claimed for their product?!?!
Like ten percent better fuel mileage? 2-3 more PSI boost? Returning the blowby gasses "supercharges" your turbo? "harnessing this wasted heat energy actually spools the turbo up faster than venting them out" !
Seems he believes the reason for venting blowby is to keep the valve covers cooler! :-))
What hogwash one can purchase for only $79.00!
And the best part? It's ALL guaranteed!
