Funny you mention Powerstrokes, Badluck. I was coming home today and a elderly couple got high centered in the snow berm in the middle of the road. A newer lifted ext cab super duty PSD pulled up and decided to go to the next intersection and make a u turn to pull them out. I looked at the snow mound shortcut and blasted on through it. With oncoming traffic stopped, I hooked up the strap and pulled them through to the side street as the Super Duty finally arrived from his detour. I smiled and waved as he sped away in disgust. I'm not sure if he was afraid of getting himself stuck or what. I guess the new Super Duty's can just sit there looking pretty while the IDI's get the work done.

I think its probably all in the skill of the driver, I have only been stuck bad once in 4ft of drifted snow... however prestroke here probably cant count the number of times i have pulled him out of situations lol
My mother in law can go through 4 ft drifts in her Honda CR-V!!! I'm just kidding ya.
I'm ashamed to say that I was stuck in my own front yard earlier this week and had to be rescued by a Chevy.
My yard has four 10ft wide garden terraces that step down about 18" each. I have a parking area at the top and I was backing in so that I could clean the driveway. I was avoiding a tall snow bank and lost track of where the edge was and went off the first level. I couldn't go forward or backwards. The snow was hip deep. My wife told me to call a tow truck as we have free towing. But I was sure not going to have a big commotion with flashing lights to announce my studipity at 10 at night in the middle of a blowing snowstorm. So I had a neighbor help me and thankfully he didn't laugh at me much.

last time i counted you have only pulled me out once and theat was because you told me to drive in a freakin lake
i made it through that lake no problem i dont know why you couldnt
these are all the reasons i could not get through it!!!!
1. your truck is a good 6 inches taller then mine
2. there was 2 or 3 inches of ice over the whole lake when i did it
3. you acctually have good tires on your truck...
4 just because....
