New Motor!!!
Hello all,I just arrived back at home today around 5pm after driving 4.5hrs one way to pick up my truck in buffalo ny.Basil ford called yesterday and said my truck was ready to go with the new engine put in it.Well I will say it got better milage on the way home,14.8mpg at 70 as opposed to 12.5 at 70mph on the way up before the motor went.I feel a noticable difference in power now from before new motor.It pulls up hills way easier like a diesel should.I'm wondering if I was having engine failure from the beginning before the #5 injector failed and caused the motor to throw a rod.I'm still thinking about tradeing it in and take a hit money ways to get a new job3.I just feel better about the newer trucks.Just a feeling thow.Mine has 4900 miles on it now and f250 CC long bed,auto with 3:73's
