Ygbsm!!
Buddy at work with a '92 {I think} F-150 4X4 was "locked out" of moving his truck from a simple problem.
He started up his truck and went inside for about 5 mins while it warmed up.
When he went to leave, he could not get the truck out of Park.
He figured that it might be frozen or bound up linkage, so he lubed and checked the whole setup.
No luck.
He is now worried that it might be in the tranny itself.
He called his uncle, who came over to look at the truck, and had it fixed in about 2 mins.
Seems that if the fuse for the brake lights and 4 ways blows, the brake/shifter interlock also goes, and you can't get out of park.
Some of may say "Yea, I already know that".
I am posting this for those like me had no clue where he should look.
Oh, also. YGBSM is a military term.
