I have a 1996 Ford Explorer XLT, the tranny started acting up & the check engine light came on so I hooked up a OBDII & the code read P0756 SHIFT SOLENOID 2 STUCK OFF OR MALFUCTION. So I took it apart & replaced the solenoid & it did the same thing so I replaced the VAVLE BODY ALL NEW SOLENOIDS & THE INTERNAL WIRE HARNESS & STILL THE SAME THING OH & ALSO THE O/D LIGHT IS FLASHING I ALSO REPLACED THAT SOLENOID TOO. What am I not doing right?? can someone please tell me something thanks Zac
Probably a dumb question, but have you reset the codes? Normally when the OD light is blinking the truck goes into 'limp' mode when causes hard shifting. It will stay that way until the codes are cleared.

If you mean did I recheck by erasing the code with the OBDII yes but if there is another way of resetting please let me know Thanks (the O/D light don't blink until the vehicle is being driven about 2 to 3 miles later)
Turn the headlights on and disconnect the negative cable on the battery after you erase the codes. After 10 min or so hook the battery back up and go for a drive.
Hey dkf, I tried the procedure this morning & it is still doing the same thing.? Thanks for your advice. Is there anything else that I can do or try? Thanks Zac
