**Dimming Lights**

When truck is idling or driving down the road at 70 the lights slightly dim back and forth. With a fully charged battery I will also sometimes walk out trying to start it and it tries to act like it has a dead battery. Does anyone know what could cause that?

I had a Mustang that did the same thing. Mine was the voltage regulator.

Corrosion !

Clean and re-secure the VR to the fender coat the back with a light coat of di-electric grease

Clean each terminal of the VR and put a light coat of di-electric grease on them

Check and clean both the ground wires for the headlights.

the first thing i would check is the battery cables - a bad cable (probably ground) can make it seem like a dead battery, and hey - cables are not expensive! then check v.r.

Check everthing as mentioned above.
Make sure to disconnect the ground cable at battery before R&R / cleaning wires at the voltage regulator.
