errrrrrrrr egr again
well after getting my truck back from ford....about a week ago for a egr problem it started the same **** tonight how can a egr get stoped up with less than a 500 miles i use the high idle mod everytime it idles when i remote start it...i guess its going back to ford tommorrow

Did the dealer replace the egr before. IF they did maybe it is not the egr after all and they need to investigate alittle more to find out what is wrong. By the way you never did mention what your truck was doing to cause you to think it is a bad egr.

its doing just like it was before just shakes going down the road dies at redlights.....and takes 5 minutes to get it resrarted with gas pedal on the floor....he replaced the egr with a brand new one....when the motor is cold it runs but when it gets warm it dies

whens the last time the fuel filters were changed? mayb you got some bad fuel and they're clogged.... i got some clogged filters not that long ago from some bad fuel and they were almost brand new filters only had a couple thousand on them and my truck was bogging and shakin when i was drivin and wouldn't start sometimes i thought my prob was HPOP too but ended up bein as simple as filters
