seat question
Does anyone know if seats types are interchangable. i am looking to buy a truck. i keep finding ones with captains chairs. i want a split bench. if i were to find someone willing to trade would the swap bolt right up? thanks

I dont have anything to trade you, but I would be interested in the seats, my truck is an XL with a solid bench, and i really need some buckets. If you buy a truck with buckets I`ll buy em

My friend has an excursion with captains chair and i have the split bench we were going to trade and what it looked like is that my set-up would go in his excursion no problem but his captains chairs with center console would not be so easy to go in my ext. cab. So if you find a bench setup that u want you SHOULD be ok.

Well I know for a fact the the front 40/20/40 seats will bolt up in the back of my crew cab. I was thinking I was going to be a set back there instead of the bench, but the door wasn't quite big enough and you'd always be pushing for space getting in or out. Once there, it'd be nice though. I am almost certian that you can change them out with no problem, might have to get a few extra bolts, but the recesses are there in the floor pan.

You can change them out I have looked up on it I believe you need to add some bolts for the center console. I would love to have Captains back, I had a set in my 01 SC and I MISS them all that storage. I would trade a bench for captains anyday.
