when I put a 390 crank in my 360 i'll need 390 connecting rods and 390 push rods? do i need to do anything w/my 360 heads? and should i buy forged 360 pistons? also clean any ridge block may have? am I missing anything? thanks 390 times for the help with my toy.
Connecting rods are all the same, along with pushrods.
Forged pistons are an option, depending on what you are doing with motor.
Yes, you need to get rid of the ridge, but likely if you have that much ridge then the best thing is to bore the block .030 oversize and get matching pistons. No sense in putting new pistons in a worn out block.

I thought the 360 used the long skinny rods and the 390 has the thick shorter rods?
