white intake runners
old 360 painted top of engine to pretty it up drove around for couple of weeks noticed intake runners discolored almost white, dark blue intake what gives,truck will pass everything but a gas station all stock!

Well I have never heard of that before? intake runners going white.... Is it a chalky white as in being dry? Or maybe a leak in the gasket around the water jacket and mixing with oil and turning white?
Have any pics?
I have seen exhaust runners turn white from a to lean of fuel/air mix..but not intake?

Yeah a pic would be worth a thousand words, and GH, I still have never seen white intake runners even on motors with a heat crossover?
