I said rear pump but to get technical it would be the rear FDM (check valve) and not the pump.
That is why I asked if the rear tank fills while running on the front.

It is the front tank that is bad, so I don't run it at all. I only run off the rear tank. When I bought the truck, I put about 3 gallons of super in the front tank just to be sure. When I found it was not working properly, I put a bunch of lucas oil gas treatment in the tank without any results. Since November, I have done nothing due to the crazy *** squeel I have been dealing with. Now that I pretty much have that figured out, I am moving to the fuel pump, which is my only other problem except for a trouble code "P1409" something to do with the "EVR" if someone wants to take a stab at that for me. The truck does not run any differently so I haven't messed with it much.
A bad rear FDM will take out the front pump. So if you replace the front FDM and it does not run well and or if the rear tank fills from the front tank then replace the rear FDM.
This is why if you take it to Ford they will replace both front and rear FDM's.
