I have 2 yellow covers from Pete. The one I have on now is starting to get a little darker, I will switch them this weekend and wash that one.

So, compare the 6637 mod to the Zoodad mod (alone, not in combination with each other).

I really don't care to hear the turbo spooling, in fact I just spent some time this weekend undercoating my truck to make it quieter. I am getting 5" exhaust in the next couple of weeks. With the 6637 I'll have to do something with the minder and temp sensor, with the zoodad I won't. Will the zoodad flow plenty for the 5 inch?

I will also get a chip or flash for an 80 hp economy soon. Give me some input here guys. Keep in mind I am after fuel economy not HP.

The zoodad gives you more of a ram air effect. All you do is cut a hole in the radiator support in front of the air box inlet. It wont let the stock filter flow any more air. With the 6637, you rip out the factory air box and replace the tiny stock filter with the much much larger 6637. It flows much more air, to the point that you can actually hear the air being sucked in at low rpm's.

Take the filter minder and temp sensor and zip tie them to the master cylinder right next to the filter. This way the temp sensor gets a somewhat accurate reading and the filter minder wont light up on the dash.

When I put the 6637 on mine, I gained about 1.5 mpg and about 2lbs of boost. The best thing to do with the 6637 is a larger exhaust. Let the truck breathe and you'll be amazed how much it wakes up.

My only complaint with the 6637 is not the turbo noise you hear (love that!) but I get a rather annoying, low bass "drone" sound at higher RPM's with mine- hoping to fab up a cold air box to help with this problem.
