Nerf Bar Inst Problem 2000 150 Ext Cab
I am installing Better Built Nerf Bars on a 2000 F150 Ext Cab.
I have a problem with one part that does not come close
to connecting properly. The tube, brackets and front strap
attach and line up fine The rear strap that is to attach
to the channel under the floor and to the rear bracket is
the problem. The Better Built company says there is a
difference in trucks built at different plants and no longer
make these bars. Has anyone else had this problem?
I can make a new strap if necessary and the bars
only cost $125, but I would like to avoid this.
