Oil analysing Dipstick

Anyone using this replacement dipstick?

Just saw an ad in Truck Trends magazine..

Looks like a pretty good idea, but the $499.00 price seems a bit steep.

Any Thoughts?

That does look pretty neat. I do agree though that $499 is a lot of money. It would probably be worth it though in the end.

Maybe a simple cheap multimeter will tell the exact same things if you took the time
to chart out a graph and measure the resistance. I am sure you would see a change
and could deduce yep it's getting old and pocket $475.00!! They need to have a some
optical sensor on it to impress me that way it could detect alot finer particulates and
maybe discern sizes and makeup, Say organic or metallic, 1 micron or 5 micron. That
way if you had lots of big particles circulating you would know your filter is bypassing!!
