No Start

I have a 99 7.3 6speed 4wd with 160,000 on rebuilt engine. I cannot get it to start. I have recently replaced the hpop, lpop, ipr, icp, and cam sensor. Now I have good oil pressure high and low and had it running for a couple of days and tried to reprogram it with the edge, ever since the longest it would run is two minutes now I cannot get it to start at all. I always have it hooked to a battery charger or two while trying to start it and it also has brand new batteries it just will not start. I tied to pull start it yesterday and still nothing. Need Help out of ideas.
Thanks

Sounds like you need to get it to a shop somewhere and get it scanned, diagnosed before proceeding.
Got a laptop? You might try purchasing a copy of Auto Enginuity. It is a professional level diagnostic program that has the enhanced Ford package. Then you can properly diagnose the problem.

Did you try bringing it back to stock? Check #30 fuse to see if it is blown.

I do have a laptop and autoenginuity and it has no new trouble codes and scans out fine. I did change it back to stock and still nothing. The trouble codes I do have are for ebv disconnected and something with the key and the door lights that I have the fuse pulled on. Thanks for the advice any other ideas would be great.

Am I reading that with the proper software, cable, and a laptop I can read my own codes?

Don't you need to have the special FORD package to read our codes?

Yes you do need the enhanced interface for ford diesels, about $400.00 for entire package.

Have you checked fuel delivery? Either fuel pump or something plugged in the tank. I know it's a long shot but could water have possibly gotten into the fuel and froze in the tank or somewhere? You guys have been mighty cold up there lately.

Where abouts are you in North Dakota?

I am in southwest ND, south of Mott to exact. I do have it in the shop right now warming up. I did try it on a +30 degree day still no dice. The hpo system seems to be running perfect icp duty cycle starts at 14 then goes up in the 30's somewhere while cranking it builds up to about 2000 psi. I have dumped the fuel filter many times and it fills up fast. I am in the process of hooking up a fuel pressure gauge. I am thinking of sending the pcm into jody to get checked.
thanks for the advice

Glad that it was something easy. It is always frustrating trying to find the cause of the problem when you get no codes. Time for a fuel pressure sensor and a warning light. Might have to work on that....

Glad you got it figured out.

To Markadeck, the cheapest place to get it is here: http://www.itpdiesel.com/store.php?c...on=show_detail
Load the software in your laptop. Plug in the USB cable & your good to go.
