These are my goals......Who knows if ill do em all, or any of them for that matter.
-Weld the spiders in the 44. Yeah, gonna break whatever, ill run it in 3 wheel drive most of the time to ease on it. Plus I have lil tires at the moment, its a light truck, only has a 300 and like 3.5 gears..
-Next thing is im going to mini spool the rear. Cheap, effective, lil tire wear but who cares?
-other thing is some serious tow points on the rear. I kept the front bumper off of the bronco, so the front is good. I'm just thinking 2 more heavy d rings on the rear bumper, and a reciever welded in the middle. simple, but funtional like the front.
-I want to make some kind of ladder bar, not because of axle wrap issues, but for driveshaft protection. just a cheap bushing/shackle and a 2 tube bar with some triangulation.
-thinking about flipping the hangers and droping the buckets like i did on my bronco, it worked pretty good. Only thing is now I only have an Arc. Now I'm very confident in my welding, I'm just not sure if i want to do it.
-Now, I'm thing about twin sticking, but right now, I really just dont see where that would do me any good other than the cool factor.
Ok, I didn't hear, but what happened to the bronco?
Anyway, got some good ideas....
What type of bumper will the rear have? just like the front? The D rings would be good, and the reciever is something I've been wanting, but don't know the best way to mount it(in the middle seems good, but it'd stick out a good 8"s, it crossed my mind to put it under the bumper, but who knows.
Welding the 44 sounds good, just weld the hell out of it.
The mini spool in the 9"...... if you put a chromoly cross pin, then it might last a while(I just hear to many mini spools failing), and the pins are pretty cheap.
Shackle flip=good!
Drop buckets..... more work, and new coils would give much better fledeaver).
Ladder bar for driveshaft protection and no axle wrap is good to, but what kind of wheeling you do to need d-shaft protection?

oh and mbbford, the tranny was still out on the bronco. So I had a kid that traded it to me for my 78 f150, a 2000 blaster with a new top end, and a 2005 pitster pro 125 pit bike that needed a new top end.
My plans are just to do some stuff to it..... Since I just moved here, I dont have anywhere to wheel at all, so I just figured I would get it ready to do some stuff if the occasion ever occured.
