hey just a quick question.. tomorrow im gunna hook up the led light for the gpr just wondering what gauge wire you used on my 12v dc led the wire seems very thin just wondering what gauge to use.

Just match the wire gauge of the in-line fuse holder or the wire gauge of the LED. Just don't use anything smaller.

i ended up buying a 1amp inline fuse

I just installed my LED last weekend. I used a 1/2 amp fuse with 14 ga wire. I put the fuse as close to the GPR as possible.

I need to do and have all of the materials. Which post on the GPR does this attach to?

It's gotta go on the GP side of the relay. Thus when power is passed THRU the relay it will energize the LED.

Large lug toward center of motor Scott, the black with Red strip is the battery lead.
14 awg ( copper) wire will hold 20 amps, so, if you are useing that, you are beyond fine. as far as a fuse, you could use 1/8 amp and never have a problem. Would recomend under a 1.0 amp though.

I didn't use a fuse, just ran wire the same size as LED, or whatever I had in stock.

I didnt either, but did you see the thread ( what would cause a SD to burn ) I am installing a fuse
